All You Need to Know!
We understand that coordinating an event and hiring furniture can feel a little daunting. To help you, we’ve explained the process and addressed some of our most frequently asked questions.

Delivery
Our deckchairs are delivered nationwide by third-party couriers. They are stacked on pallets and delivered using a tail lift to kerbside locations only so please make sure the address of delivery and collection is accessible for a large wagon with a tail lift. Delivery further than kerbside is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the individual driver on the day.
Delivery is organised for a specific day and can take place any time between 8 am - 6 pm. If you provide a mobile number, it will be passed to the courier who can update you on the day with a more specific timeslot.
Each pallet contains up to 50 deckchairs and they are moved using a pump track or hand trolley at the driver’s discretion. Unfortunately, the pallets cannot be transferred over grass, gravel, up or down steps, etc. so please consider the accessibility of the required route. Please also note that the drivers are unable to assist with unpacking or moving individual components so it is best for event organisers to get a team together.
Once the delivery is complete, please make sure you are happy with the deckchairs, as once the driver has left, the responsibility for broken or missing deckchairs moves from the courier to those hiring them. For more details, please visit our Terms and Conditions.
Come collection time, please make sure the deckchairs are ready by stacking them back on the pallet and securing them with the ratchet straps and tarpaulin they were delivered with. Unfortunately, charges do apply if the driver is unable to collect at the agreed time.

Insurance + Safety
For your safety and enjoyment, we have some simple advice:
We recommend a two-person minimum for unpacking the pallets.
To unpack, start by undoing the ratchet straps and removing the tarpaulin. Keep these items safe as they will be needed for the collection and are subject to charges if lost.
Please be careful when setting up the deckchairs to avoid trapping your fingers. When carrying them, it is best to hold them by the top so the arm doesn’t fall down and injure you.
It is best to carry no more than three deckchairs at a time.
Please make sure the deckchairs are clipped in place so they don’t collapse when you are preparing them for collection.
For your peace of mind, Decked Out is insured appropriately. However, it is recommended that the event organiser purchases public liability insurance and insurance for loss, theft, breakages, and damages, as you will be responsible and liable whilst the hiring of decks chairs is taking place. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
