  All our vintage wooden deck chairs are unique but the approximate dimensions of each is H: 12” x W: 9” x L: 33”.

  A fully assembled giant deckchair is approximately 192cm (h) x 146cm (w) x 176cm (d). When the chairs are laid flat for storage they measure about 240cm (l) x 146cm(w) x 10cm(h), the stays add an extra 10cm in height. The giant deck chair weighs approximately 42kg.

• Insurance + safety

  For your safety and enjoyment, we have some simple advice:

  We recommend a two-person minimum for unpacking the pallets.

  To unpack, start by undoing the ratchet straps and removing the tarpaulin. Keep these items safe as they will be needed for the collection and are subject to charges if lost.

  Please be careful when setting up the deckchairs to avoid trapping your fingers. When carrying them, it is best to hold them by the top so the arm doesn’t fall down and injure you.

  It is best to carry no more than three deckchairs at a time.

  Please make sure the deckchairs are clipped in place so they don’t collapse when you are preparing them for collection.

  Please be careful when handling and moving any other furniture and/or accessories hired by Decked Out.

  For your peace of mind, Decked Out is insured for public liability and personal injury. However, it is recommended that the event organiser purchases public liability insurance and insurance for loss, theft, breakages, and damages, as you will be responsible and liable whilst the hiring of decks chairs is taking place. • Delivery

  Our deckchairs and accessories are delivered across the UK by third-party couriers. They are delivered by large wagons with tail lifts as stacked pallets of up to 50 deck chairs each. Accessibility, kerbside location, and flat hard ground are required for delivery. Please note that the drivers are unable to assist with unpacking or moving individual components so it is best for event organisers to get a team of at least two people together.

  If furniture and accessories are delivered separately from deck chairs then other rules may apply.

  Delivery takes place on your specified date between 8 am - 6 pm. If a phone number is provided, the driver will update with a timeslot on the day of delivery. Costs can depend on location and quantity. For more information, please read our Delivery & Collection section.

  Are there specific requirements for bespoke deck chairs?

  How do I assemble the deckchairs?

  Deckchairs are notorious finger trappers so please be very careful when assembling. Make sure the arm is securely in both the ridges on each side and on even ground.

  How do I disassemble the deckchairs?

  Take the arms out of the grooves carefully and fold the arms under the fabric. Be careful to avoid catching your fingers.

  What should I do if I have damaged one of the deckchairs?

  Send an email to sophie@getdeckedout.co.uk or ring us at (+44) 07886835311 at your earliest convenience, preferably before the collection, and we will take it from there.

  How do I prepare the deckchairs for collection?

  Be careful not to trap your fingers whilst you ensure the arm is securely in both the ridges on each side and is placed on even ground.

  Neatly and securely stack the deck chairs on the pallets ready for the agreed collection time.

  The deck chairs need to be folded down and stacked into two equal piles facing opposite directions on the pallet. There should be no more than a total of 50 chairs (2 piles of 25) per pallet.

  The tarpaulin then fits over the deckchairs and the ratchet straps tighten to secure the tarpaulin and deck chairs remain in place. For more information, please see this instruction video.

  The pallet(s) will be collected by the courier on the day allocated with timings confirmed on the day (if a phone number has been given).

  Please make sure they are where they were delivered to, are on hard-standing ground, and are accessible for a pump truck. If the collection fails or is delayed, then unfortunately charges will be applied.
